Scott Ayre, P.T. - President & Co-Owner
Scott graduated in 1991 from the University of New England with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. He spent the next two years in Arizona working for a progressive outpatient clinic. There, he had the opportunity to study under Cliff Fowler and David Lamb, internationally known manual therapists. He spent the next few years as a contract therapist traveling and expanding his skills in many different settings around the country. Scott joined Southern Maine Physical Therapy in 1997, and has since completed manual therapy training from the McKenzie Institute. His professional interests include orthopedics, ergonomics/industrial medicine and sports related injuries. |

Brenda Ayre, P.T. - Vice President & Co-Owner
Brenda graduated from West Virginia University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. After graduation, she expanded her training in orthopedic, neurological, industrial and chronic pain rehabilitation at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital in Kentucky. Like Scott, Brenda then worked in various settings throughout the country as a contract therapist. Brenda joined Southern Maine Physical Therapy in 1997. Her professional interests include geriatrics, orthopedic and industrial medicine and neurological rehabilitation. |

Jen Joseph, P.T.
Jennifer received her Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont in 1991. She has worked for local acute care and rehabilitation hospitals since, specializing in neurological, orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation. Her professional interests include manual therapy, treatment of the spine, and women's health. |

Kimberly Jellison, MPT
Kim Jellison completed a Masters of PT from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 2004. She has a broad experience base in both outpatient orthopedic and inpatient acute care with a specific area of interest in musculoskeletal problems. |

Jennifer-Lynn Adams, P.T.A., L.M.T.
Jennifer received her Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Lassell College in 1996, and has worked for Southern Maine Physical Therapy since. She completed training at the Polarity Realization Institute in 2000 and is licensed by the State of Maine as a massage therapist. Her professional interests include treatment of myofascial disorders, geriatric rehabilitation and women's health. |

Brandon Hayes, P.T.A, C.P.T.
Brandon graduated from Kennebec Valley Technical College in 1994 with an Associate in Science degree in Physical Therapy. He has specialized in orthopedics and sports medicine, and became certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer in 2003. Brandon has over 15 years of experience and joined the SMPT staff in 2001. He developed Core Personal Training in 2004.

Diane Bell
Diane received her Associate in Science degree, Cum Laude, from Southern Vermont College. With 30-plus years of experience in medical and customer service settings, Diane has mastered a variety of software applications, office management, and has excellent inter-personal skills. Diane loves working with people and will be among the first people you see when you arrive at the Westbrook location. |

April Anderson
April joined SMPT in 2007 as an Office Assistant when we opened our second location in South Portland. She helps keep our office and patient care organized with more than 10 years experience in patient care and advanced skills in medical coding and transcription. From the West to the East coast, April has been an active volunteer in the community, and will be among the first to welcome you at our South Portland clinic. |

Janet Lunt
Janet joined SMPT in 2006 as a receptionist in the Westbrook clinic. She has a lot of experience helping to manage offices and although she only works part-time, she helps keep us on our toes.
